Code Red: Environmental Issues
The Code Red Initiative raises awareness of today’s most urgent environmental issues and calls for immediate global action. We face a growing crisis: climate change, deforestation, plastic pollution, air pollution, water scarcity, loss of biodiversity, and ocean acidification are all accelerating.
These threats are interconnected and worsening, putting ecosystems and human lives at risk. A fair and rapid energy transition is vital, and environmental justice must ensure that vulnerable communities are not left behind. The planet is in Code Red. The time to act is now.
